Featured Beer: A truly unique representation of the American Wheat style, Atwater’s Summer Time Ale, is a study in refreshing crispness. Vienna malt brings a distinct snap to the finish with dark wheat flavors lightly present. The hot wort is briefly exposed to ground lemon peel and grains of paradise which provide a tidy lemon, citrus finish. ABV – 5% / Color – Pale
Our tap room is now located in our brewery space. Stop by for a cold one Tuesday thru Friday from 4-11 pm & Saturday from 2 – 11 pm. You can’t get any food back there, but who needs it when beer is on the menu? Atwater Brewery is located in the heart of Detroit’s Rivertown district, just a couple of blocks from the dirty divide (The Detroit River).
| Holding true to the Northern English tradition, the Decadent Dark Chocolate Ale has at its foundation a nutty profile with a round mouthfeel. Added is a Chocolate Extract consisting of three blended chocolates of varied depth. The result is a rich, but not overtly sweet, experience for both the beer and the chocolate enthusiast. |
